Project Description:
This old factory in downtown Brisbane was to be converted into The Smoked Garage, a combination of café, function centre and exotic Motor bike showroom.
Suncoast Enclosures were briefed to bring light into building and provide sky-views without the use of glass as they wanted to retain the original timber trusses which could not withhold the weight of glass.
We chose a combination of reclaimed hardwood framing to match existing timber trusses and light weight poly carbonate roof sheets that provide the appearance of glass without the weight. The end result is a truly unique roof top that matches this eclectic, urban venue.
