Project Description:
On a mountain top just outside of Byron Bay NSW the owners of this home wanted to better utilise the large open courtyard at the centre of their home. While views are spectacular, north easterly winds chase visitors inside most afternoons.
Suncoast Enclosures were asked to come up with a unique design that would enhance the home and fulfil all objectives. We built an industrial themed structural steel frame with in-laid hardwood timber to clad the frame, and a combination of insulbond and polycarb complete with glass sliding doors and hi-lite louvres. We even provided an opening roof so that most days the central tree receives natural light.
